Nice trade for Marlowe...if Poyer misses any length of time cannot have Hamlin AND Johnson out there at the same time...that has not worked out too well for us.

Marlowe was quite productive in the 4 games he started in 2020 for us...2 INTs, 1.5 sacks and 1 FR.

You already have those type on the roster .

I believe you should have made a superbowl move which  you didn't imo

Should have gone all in on Jacob's

You can't trade for a player the other team doesn't want to trade.

Oooh glad we got rid of Moss. Guy never could find an opening. Hope Hines can fill that elusive catching back it’s clear Beane has been hellbent on acquiring.  Wasn’t so eager as the media to find a new back but this cost us nothing.

Marlowe is at least some insurance, hope that doesn’t relate to Poyers reinjured elbow.

Wish there was more for the Oline, but they just don’t exist in surplus.

Looks like Miami is going all in. Interesting they aren’t a little more patient.

You guys and gals are going to love Hines. He's quick, and very versatile, can run the slot route with speed.

I'm thinking this opens up the Dorsey play book to surprise some teams this season and in to the playoffs. I expect a few quick releases to this guy from Josh, allowing him ro avoid future pressure in some instances.

Good trade.

It appears Miami has been watching the Bills games.  To beat the Bills = Run the ball + get pressure with the front 4.

Dorsey finally got his RB wide receiver. Looking forward to Hines split out wide and seeing how defenses decide to defend him because he’s gonna be a matchup problem for LBs or safeties and Dorsey is gonna love catching defenses in unfavorable sub packages as a result. I see a lot of up tempo in the near future.

Josh is going to smoke teams with this guys speed via quick releases.

Beans knew exactly what he was doing.

I think you have a good point there.  Put pressure on Josh..hope he makes some dumb decisions. Eat clock keep Bills off the field.

But Bills responded a bit with the Indy guy

That's not why or how Miami beat Buffalo. That's like saying the Patriots will beat the Bills by running and only throwing 3 times.

Miami did learn something though, pressuring the qb with a 4 man rush is key. See Buffalo v Kansas City.

I wonder is that has something to do with Allen and Mahomes being among the best vs. blitz pressure the last few seasons.

Beane and virtually no other GM is paying much for an RB these days unless they are an absolute game changer like CMC or Alvin Kamara.  And even they didn't fetch a first round pick.

RB's are pretty much a dime a dozen.  There are as many if not more RBs that are mid-late round picks that do well as there are first rounders.  I mean look at Chris Warren in Pittsburgh, an undrafted free agent badly outplaying their first round pick from last year, Najee Harris.

Except they can't run the ball and a team would not have that type of success running the ball if the game was tied.  People need to understand context.  The Packers were never winning that game running the ball down by 17, so the Bills, while not happy with giving up so much yardage, did nothing to try and discourage them from running the ball.  The average box defenders were 6 in the first half and 6.1 in the second half. They simply didn't care...if a team wants to run itself out of the game then the Bills are happy to let them.

Green Bay wasn't trying to win that game, they were trying to "not lose by as much".  I mean, you have the two time reigning MVP at QB and you are trying to run the ball down 17 late in the 3rd quarter?  WTF?  It was so shocking even Bills players were dumbfounded by it. Well, great...they succeeded mainly because Allen got a little careless, but even that philosophy wouldn't have saved them normally.

You saw what happened when the Bills actually "needed" a stop on 4th and 1...they stonewalled Jones for a loss with Von Miller caving in the entire right side of their OLine.

Let's not forget the Bills were the number 1 run D in the NFL coming into the game and deservedly so.

Best part about Hines might be he reduces the amount of touches McKenzie gets, on punt returns, slot routes, etc. McKenzie is a fun person but man is he an unreliable mess on the field sometimes.

McKenzie hasn't been returning punts, it's been Shakir.

Von Miller asking Rodgers in the second half if they were actually going to throw the ball is hysterical.
