That said, the league has rules on LTIR. According to this article, Stone could’ve come back as early as March 10th. https://puckprose.com/2022/02/17/should-we-question-how-the-vegas-golden-knights-put-mark-stone-on-injured-reserve/amp/ So, if he were to come back next week, or even yesterday, it’s all within the confines of the LTIR rule. Yeah, it’s just really greasy. I’m sure Stone could have played through his injury as well. Next year some team may be $20 million over the limit, rotating 3 superstars in and out of LTIR as required and then activating the whole lot at playoff time. There’s no way he missed a period getting hit in the neck. Golden Knights win, but lose Eichel to injury Eichel actually experienced two injury scares during this much-needed Golden Knights win. Earlier in the game, he was slow to get up after seemingly getting his neck/head bumped while he was low on the ice. Eichel was able to hang in there, though. Later on, Eichel seemed to hurt his arm/hand blocking a shot. While he made a return after quickly leaving the bench, but the Golden Knights held him out through the second period. It’s currently vaguely deemed an upper-body injury. Jesse Granger reports that Peter DeBoer didn’t have an update directly after the game. To put things mildly, the Golden Knights’ injury list is swelling like a sore wrist or knee.

Well for Jacks sake I hope the injury isn’t related to the head/neck bump you mentioned.

GASabresIUFAN
Maybe Jack should take the rest of the year off and get his body fully healthy before returning to the ice.

The hysterical part is that the NHL has literally watched it happen at least twice and is doing nothing about it. NHL gonna NHL.
