He's still a young defenseman, but I do think he needs to work on his slapshot. -

Anyone see if the hit from before the fight was clean, and who it was on? Sorry, trying to watch both games at once. -

Can we please ban the air horn? Reminds of the South African World cup vuvuzela. Also can we ban Ray from talking through the faceoff? -
Very brave statement for Zadorov to have made. When he left Buffalo, I thought he was an immature young player with a lot of talent. This has definitely changed my perception of him as a person. Not sure how he has developed as a hockey player, but as a Russian voice, this says a lot about him.

King Buffalo is a good Rochester band with a Buffalo name. On a side note, I've noticed a lot of kids at the school I work at wearing Cannibal Corpse shirts. Doubting many of them have actually heard them though.

Mike Ramsey. Great defenseman who never stood out but was very effective. Honorable mention: Joe Reekie. Can't remember much about his game, but loved his name -

Attendance issues at whatever our arena is named now

Not sure how it is in Buffalo, but the last game I went to was a few years ago in Phoenix and I was so annoyed by the loud music in between plays that I don't think I'll go to another game there again. Is this a standard practice in the NHL, or is it something that mostly occurs in the non-traditional markets? I always enjoyed talking about what I saw after the whistle and feel like this is difficult when I'm covering my ears. Are there people who would not go to games if the non-hockey entertainment didn't exist? -
Is Gambling Good For Professional Sports Or Bad?
mudberry replied to bob_sauve28's topic in The Aud Club
I'm personally against gambling in sports. I would probably give less of a ***** if they didn't make it a part of every Sabre's intermission report -

Did one of the announcers try to say that they shouldn't call it because a 5 minute would be too much? -
Do You Think Sabres Will Make Playoffs Next Year?
mudberry replied to bob_sauve28's topic in The Aud Club
I think they can if they stay healthy. The injuries this year have been ridiculous so a stable lineup would help tremendously. It might be close, but I feel they could be one of the bottom teams making it in. -

Can someone explain to me what a JAG is? -
I've always questioned the wisdom of giving a person the captaincy simply because of their talent. A player can have outstanding talent bring wins to a team and can be an incredible asset without being a leader. Not a knock to the player, but there are simply better people who fit into the role as team leader. An incredible talent can develop into a captain, but I don't like it when they are thrust into that position at a young age.

Is it too soon to think we might actually be good?
mudberry replied to GASabresIUFAN's topic in The Aud Club
Too soon to tell with the competition we've faced. I do believe, however, that we were/are better than some of the NHL teams that had better records than us last year. We just never got to play them, and they didn't have the same level of competition as us
