The only reason the Bills name is acceptable to you or anyone else is because of tradition. Oh, believe me, I am in full agreement on this one. It may be the dumbest name in pro sports when you consider it abstractly. And it has nothing to do with Cody killing bison--it's just *dumb*. But because of the two team names, we're left with little choice when it comes to logos. A Buffalo or a B (representing Buffalo and thereby reflecting the city) is going to be involved. The slug/comb over was the worst. Bad look, bad colours, just bad. The goathead might have been too radical a change from the original for most fans, but the colours worked, and I always thought the red nostrils gave it a sort of blood snort look of fierceness. I rushed out and bought a Buffaslug jersey as soon as they were available because I'm an idiot. I hated that uniform/logo sofa king much.
