Lehner had a good game tonight. What a waste. Playoffs hopes slipping away.

I agree with Lehner I don't know about playoffs. Like I said awhile back if they got 20 more goals from 4 players things might be different. You can probably figure out which 4 players I'm talking about. 20 more goals would translate into at least 4 more wins.

He's playing with ROR and Kane... Jack needs to generate his own s#!t.

Jack's a year younger than Dylan, and has spent the season at center versus playing on the wing of an all time great, and had the same point total as Dylan coming into this game. In general, Jack>Larkin. This game, certainly Jack has been awful relative to Dylan, but it's not as if Jack's had ROR all season, it's been half of a period.

we just gotta get to the All Star break... gotta make it there.

I think Jack will be better then Larkin but you can see the season fatigue with Jack. The all star break will help.

These scouts must be blind because it's easy to see this guys ability. He should have been in the top 5-10.

This team has been terrible the last 2 games -  1 goal scored in 120 minutes.

A game like tonight against a top tier team like the Red Wings illustrates just how far the Sabres have to go, in order to be a truly competitive team.  They looked outclassed and clueless out there - couldn't keep the puck in the Red Wings zone, and couldn't keep it OUT of their own zone.

For about half of the game, and for periods after that, the Sabres stuffed the Detroit offense. It's an exhausting way to play and by the third they were gassed.  Add a double minor and how can that not end in disaster?

I look at it this way:  This is the Sabres at their worst this year, and it's because they're missing Gus and Samson.  This is about as good as they looked last year.
