Weave
McCormick (when healthy), Scott, and Konopka would make a helluva rough 4th line. I was pining for Buffalo to pick up Konopka a couple seasons ago. He's a decent faceoff guy. Good 4th liner. As if we don't have enough of those. :(
Two or less
This season with the Wild, he played 36 games and has 1g, 1a and 55 PIM. For his career, he has 1049 PIM. He's also a pretty solid faceoff guy.

Two or less
Sad that all they can add to the dregs of the NHL is the dregs of the NHL. Not really. It's a smart and quick fix to filling the roster spot. He's a Ted Nolan type player. The only other option would of been calling up someone from Rochester, and there isn't anybody there who is ready. No point for a rebuilding team to call up someone who isn't ready yet. Amerks have their own issues with injuries right now too.

dudacek
Well that was pretty much ordained. Can't wait until we get healthy enough to ice: D'Agostini Ellis Omark Flynn Porter Stafford McCormick Konopka Scott (Leino still not quite good enough to crack the top nine.) LTS
But he wins faceoffs! I wonder if John Scott could win faceoffs simply by shoving the other player out of the way? Oh well.. that's my contribution to the thread. Actually it's not.. Konopka is a decent player who does win faceoffs.. just in case Buffalo actually needs that. I guess I missed something but why isn't Armia an option? injuries in Rochester?
Peppy22
Everytime Ted sends out Scott and Konopka out he will get fined for player selection.
