carpandean
Updated for the Olympic break. Tank Nation chart certainly looks better than it did at the start of the week. Also, after flat-lining for a bit, they've started going down again. I had to move my lower limit down again. carpandean
That 65-point tank line is looking pretty good.
North Buffalo
And Edmonton and Calgary won last night, though the Islanders loss, got watch out for those guys, they could be tanking worse than the Sabres right now.
Robviously
And Edmonton and Calgary won last night, though the Islanders loss, got watch out for those guys, they could be tanking worse than the Sabres right now. The Islanders blowing two-goal leads in the third period in back to back games is disturbing. Between that and their schedule, they might not win again this season. Claude_Verret
Although they are too far away to catch us, watch out for the Canes falling into the bottom 5. They did the same late season tank last year surpassing us into Lindholm/Monahan territory.

The Islanders are the only team I would not losing the lottery to. There is no way Snow give the Sabres the first overall pick in the draft and I cannot see them improving enough in the next year to finish outside the bottom five. TrueBlueGED
We're the worst team in the league, we're going to remain the worst team in the league, and we're going to draft top-two as a result. There is no other option. No. Other. Option. In advance: shush Robviously.

carpandean
If the Sabres and Bruins keep it up, I'll have to adjust both limits again. It will tough to tell the middle 10 teams apart. Edited March 16, 2014 by carpandean

SwampD
Gotta love parity. BTW, it is awesome that you have a chart titled Tank.
carpandean
BTW, it is awesome that you have a chart titled Tank. Thanks. I have a feeling that it will be back next year, but I hope it can be retired after that.
SabresBillsFan
Gotta keep the Tank rolling till the end of next season and then the tank needs to stop. Lets get that shot at McDavid and then it's all about putting the best possible team on the ice. I see Murray maybe trading Stafford and Stewart at the draft for possibly something more. IKnowPhysics
We're on pace to match the '06-'07 Flyers at 56 points. I take solace in knowing that our season was intentional and theirs wasn't.

IKnowPhysics
Can we replace the Sabres logo on the Tank graph with a small version of this?
LastPommerFan
Can we replace the Sabres logo on the Tank graph with a small version of this? That's not how it works. The Sabres are the Sabres. The graph is like a box of cereal (pre-choking lawsuits and kid-focused marketing/obesity epidemic). The tank is the prize at the bottom. Only you can't just open the box upside down and get it out faster.

OK, OK, can we add some olt-timeyart to the bottom with "Here be tanks"
carpandean
OK, OK, can we add some olt-timeyart to the bottom with "Here be tanks" I added a little something for you. If I get inspired (and find some free time), I'll try to add more.
