Next tiebreaker is points in the season series, and they played twice with the teams splitting regulation wins, so the next tiebreaker is goal differential. It was a tight Western Conference playoff race right till the end - spots 5-10 were all in the hunt up until the second-to-last day of the season, and on the final day five teams were vying for three spots.
