However, they rolled Philly 5-0 on Monday, and of course played Buffalo Saturday.... Give me a win any way possible, because Mama, I'm comin' home!! Go Sabres! Can Montreal continue the slump? Is Boston Slipping? The way the 7 and 8 seeds have been playing, I am starting to think that it is division champ or nothing with these guys......Could the Sabres take division crown in the NFC West???? But as a FAN at least I am still trying to generate some buzz... I am not sure if I am still allowed to post because I am down on the team figuratively not literally like some of the Sabs themselves but thats another story..... but it's that time of year again and to all my fellow fans this is my Christmas ode to you all... Twas the night before the night before Christmas and all through the rink, not a fan was found stirring or so PA thinks. The nets were all hung from their posts with much care, In hopes that Miller's 200 soon would be there. The players were nestled all snug on the bench, While visions of sausages danced in somes heads. And Lindy in his xmas tie, and I with my booze, get ready for another game I sure hoped not a snooze. When out on the ice their arose such a clatter, I sprang from the toliet after draining my bladder. Away to the remote I flew with a flash, Unmuted the mute and upped the volume a mash. The jumbotron gleaned over a new sheet of ice, The players below in throwbacks looked nice. When what to my wondering eyes should I see, A game with 5 players playing good hockey. With a little old coach so smug and so quick, I knew in a moment that Jack Adams was fit. More rapid than eagles his players they came, and he whistled and shouted and called them all names. Now captain, no $&%##@ captain, what *&%#@ captain we need, On Patrick, on Cody, on Paulie please bleed. To the top of the division, to the top of the East, Now dash away, dash away, dash away least. Please feel free all to fill in whats lacking, But I must do some work so to the finish I go packing. He sprang to his bench, to his team gave a profanity laced bashing, And away down the ice they all flew with teeth mashing. But I heard him exclaim, ere his team off now for the night.
