We lost the last game so I'm one and done for making the GDT. I'm torn between riding Lyon and trying Ellis on the road to see what you have there.

Don't want UPL to get another game yet. At some point you need to try him again, but I'd give him a home game.

 

Must Win is a bit of an exaggeration, but losing 3 straight is not a good look for a "playoff" team, especially against a reeling Bruins team. We looked awful in the first game against them. We're playing better now. Gotta get it done tonight.

 

Looks like Greenway will make his season debut. I don't love having him at center. I think if they lost faith in Östlund, send Östlund and Dunne back to Rochester. Then call up Helenius to try him out at 3c instead.

Division rival, team we are capable of beating, team we lost too last time around, 2 game losing streak (OTL) after a 4-0... I am very interested to see which Sabres team shows up.... the one with their hair on fire and a$$ catching or the one we saw at the beginning and end of last game...  have a chance to stop the skid here... or potentially prolong it for several games....  with a bit of a difficult schedule ahead... pivitol type of game here.

This is the type of game that the Sabres have had mixed results with.  A road game they should win. 
 

No excuse for this team or the coaching staff tonight. The entire blue line is healthy. Lindy can choose any goalie he wants.  Tage, Tuch, McLeod, & Doan are all a point a game over their last 6+games.  The team has picked up a point or more in six out of seven.  
 

We joke about the must win thing, but this is a must win to stay with the pack. You lose to last place Boston and it’s gonna get noisy and negative again.  
 

A must win in October.  Let’s goooo! ⚔️

Forget the loser points for a minute, this is also a two game losing streak that needs to end TONIGHT. 

The Sabres need to look at Boston and hate the fact they lost to them once already.  

I want to see a 6-2 win tonight.  I want to see a full 60 minute effort.

If the goal is to win 6 games out of 10, or win 3 games out of 5, then this is a must win.  It doesn't matter the month. 

This team cannot have routinely lose 3 or 4  games in a row anymore.  That must stop.   The leaders of this team have to step up.

I’ll take a 3-2 victory and walk away with a grin on my face. You are expecting too much with your required score. As an Sabre fan you are not in a position to be greedy. 😇
