Brawndo Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago Ruff said Jacob Bryson and Michael Kesselring skated before practice this morning. Ruff said he's hopeful Kesselring could join the team for practice as early as tomorrow, but he hasn't gotten the report on them yet to see how he handled things today. per Joe Yerdon Quote

DarthEbriate Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago The dreaded TNT/HBO non-viewing, radio-only abstract painting description call tonight here. Hope Östlund plays well. Detroit is playing tremendous hockey to start the season. Need Ellis to play above expectation and for Dahlin/TNT/Tuch/Byram/McLeod to all show up at both ends of the ice to get a win. Quote

#freejame Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago If this were a 7pm start I’d go, but 730 will put me home past my bedtime. Go Sabres. 1 Quote

The Sabres can't have another start where the opponent is in our end for much of the first period, peppering Ellis. They will be down 2-0 in a blink. 1 Quote
LabattBlue Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago On WGR last hour, right after there was discussion of the game being on TNT, Hammy chimes in and calls it a “radio only” game. Hello…just because it is not on MSG does not make it a “radio only” game. How much does this guy get paid? 🤔 1 Quote

We could use a few more guys like this group, imo. 2 1 Quote

On paper similar and Sabres could do well in an open ice speed match up so we shall see. Goaltending the question mark. Quote

I was really hoping he could be a very good fourth center who could spell occasionally higher up but he has started this year very slowly. Some guys just have a hard time accepting who they are. I think Kozak is surpassing him as the fourth center. 1 1 Quote

Produced 28 points last year on mostly 4th line. His defense is no liability. +/- neutral player. If he fails to generate more offense still a valuable piece given his compete and intangibles, imo Watch him interact with teammates on the bench. Kid is enthusiastic and upbeat. 80 game player last two years. Easy to see why Ruff likes him. 2 1 Quote

Not skilled enough to play top-6 in the NHL. Not enough of a psycho to carve out a meaningful role on the 4th line. 2 minutes ago, Believer said: Too soon to say. He’s 24. And I am sure he's a very popular teammate. A beauty, as the hockey players say. Quote
