SABRES 0311 Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago (edited) I interpret this as a show us what you can do, last chance type of contract. He’ll be on the second line to start the season, right or wrong. If he sucks again then his contract shouldn’t make it too difficult to move. Edited 5 hours ago by SABRES 0311 1 1 1 1 Quote

JoeSchmoe Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago If he gets back on track, this could be a good deal. Achilles injuries sometimes take a while. 1 Quote

Thorny Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago Consensus online is it’s a little high. I wonder if that means they expect to have cap space 1 Quote
Bangarang Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago Really depends on which version of Quinn we get. Quote
Thorny Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago Contract is fine. - - - on a more macro level complete with perspective: We were told Adams couldn’t improve the team or spend to cap for 5 years to save room for our RFAs. Peterka is gone. Quinn signed for 3 million. Looking into whether the strategy was a good one now. 1 Quote
mjd1001 Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago (edited) Well, lets see how he performs. My opinion on Quinn was always that next to Cozens, he was the single player on this team that hurt the team the most (much more than he helpled). I'm hoping if he comes in and still plays the same (bad) game as the last year or two, they won't keep sticking him out there because of the new contract. The dollar number isn't going to prevent them from doing other things, so its OK that way, I just don't want them throwing him out there if he continues to hurt more than he helps.
