We are in no mans land. We likely arent going anywhere in the standings.

Before The Pain we were in a similar no mans land, except that we were above the playoff line.

The Sabres are an equidistant 7 points from the final playoff spot (DET) and last place in their own division (MTL). Currently holding the 8th overall pick again.

It's a fun distribution these past 11 drafts. Cozens and Savoie should be honorary eighths.

1-Power, Dahlin
2-Eichel, Reinhart
7-Cozens
8-Quinn, Mittelstadt, Nylander, Ristolainen
9-Savoie
13-Benson

Washington is clinging onto the final WC spot. They should be playing desperate. Can the Sabres play spoiler or have the wheels finally fallen off and we're in the midst of a bad losing streak to close out what has been a wonderful season of hockey?

The over and under for the in-game thread tonight is 7.5 pages.

Since they are officially out of the hunt, I'd take the under.

Although I'm curious if they even have it in them to show up and be a spoiler since that's all they have left really since we have seen they don't play for pride.

Since the games are meaningless and there is no pressure, I’m sure we will be seeing the best they have starting tonight.

They're not mathematically eliminated just yet, are they?  Still like a 0.5% chance or something?
