Then yesterday The Athletic announced Lehner is having season ending surgery from an injury he suffered in March that he was trying to play through. So DeBoer lied about him being heathy??

But now that has changed and Lehner is the backup for the game tonight.

Is this a case of the team deciding what a player should or should not be doing with his body (Lehner wants surgery and the team said oh no you’re not…at least not yet)?

If so, how ironic.

Where did you see the thing about Lehner backing up tonight?  I spent an hour hunting for it.

Jack with 0 points.  He was on the ice when SJ tied it with 1 second left.  He was -2 for the night.  He also missed in the shootout.

Vegas gets a point but this OTL hurts them.

That's a whole lot of nothing from your forward with the most TOI.

Vegas are away for the rest of their games. You have to believe Dallas puts their all into their game.

Nashville has a hard schedule, but should get at least another two points, so if Dallas win, I think it’s all over.

Not a good look for Eichel in these crunch games. On track for a 52 point season (I get that he was returning from an injury, but even so).

ideally they lose on Tuesday, they realise it’s all over and the locker room issues break the team apart for their final twist games. Leaving them on 90 points.

The Canucks then win two of their last three (win against Kings or Oilers required). Then Vegas’ pick drops one lower

Eichel is close to his top form IMO. He has resumed giving the puck away trying to enter the O-zone with little effort from the opposing team. He hasn’t missed a step holding onto and losing the puck along the boards during the PP. Money can’t buy that level of contribution. Oh wait, it costs 10mil.

Hope he invested that money in sunscreen. He’ll need it playing golf in the desert this time of year. If not he should call Evander Kane for some tips on how to invest wisely.
