I remember watching Jack and Nelson at the world championships in 2015 when we knew we were getting Jack. They looked so good together and Jack wasn't even a pro yet. Happier times. This year, if he's along the boards, just double him and take the puck away. His pass today was beautiful (to Montour for a flub) but the rest of the time it's a turnover. Brock looked surprised by it. Let’s be realistic, these players are friends off the ice but maybe Buffalo’s play, mired in an ugly losing streak, could be more focused and intense.
