It seems like most other goalies are much better at looking around the screen, seeing the shot in spite of screens. Is he just too tall? It was a great play by the shooter to throw on the brakes and send it around Okposo against the grain with the goalie watching for him on the other side. Lehner was phenomenal. We can't ever seem to beat the Blackhawks. They aren't very good this year. When the Sabres have a lead in the 3rd period, we all know he's going to let one in. He doesn't have what is needed upstairs to close out games. With Lehner, it's not about how many, it's about when. He gives that goal up in the third we still lose 3-2. What did he have today, a .941 sv%? That's enough to win, surely.
