The two "prospects" don't sound to be anything to exciting (one is like 26 years old) and of course Washington's 1st pick is not much better then a 2nd from us. Why we couldn't have sent them two of our lower-rated prospects which is essentially what St. Louis got and our 1st for such a great d-man is strange. St. Louis gives away a top 2 d-man for not much of anything and they are just a few point sup in playoff hunt so the move is even more strange. Why trade anything for shattenkirk when he signing with the NYR after this season anyway?
