Bud Light and its ilk has its place when it comes to having something cold, fizzy, and vaguely alcoholic in nature.

Quantity over Quality

Bud Light is like having sex in a canoe... f##king close to water.

Sure. And sometimes quantity is what you want. If I'm at the beach, and want to get into some day-drankin' at 11:00? Bud Light or Miller Lite are my go-to's. I can drink those all day long, more or less, and still be a functioning person.

It's not as though I'm going to have some gotdam Ommegang while I'm throwing horseshoes. (And, yes, yes, there are crafty artisanal hot weather beers. Whatever. I'm not drinking 10 of those over the course of a day and early evening.)

Point being: Sometimes a canoe is the right place to have sex.

I'm probably as big of a beer snob as anyone, but even I can acknowledge that the fizzy yellow stuff has a time and place.  Although there are two beers in that category you will never, ever find me drinking: Bud Light and Corona.

If you're at some gathering and someone offers you a free beer, you'll accept a Bud Light.

(and that's a generic "you", I'm not talking about you specifically)
