Leaving Fitz wide open isn't exactly a great option. Even on a scramble play somebody needs to know where he is. It's not the NFL's fault the Pack screwed the pooch So, why doesn't the NFL just play a full quarter of OT, at least in the playoffs? I feel cheated with that game ending on the first drive. I'm not blaming the NFL, just expressing a desire for that game to last longer. And in GB's defense, it's not like you expect Palmer to roll right on a broken play and throw cross body all the way to the opposite sideline. Rodgers, sire. But Palmer? The had a choice to go for 2 pts with no time on the clock. They decided to go for the single extra point. If Mike McCarthy would have showed some balls the Packers might be alive in the playoffs today. It was that decision that ended up costing the Packers the game, not a coin flip. While I agree coaches in general have no balls in the NFL in almost all situations... Except maybe Bruce Arians a couple of times. I still think that a field goal is too easy to get.. Throw a bomb and get a Bs pass interference penalty and bam it's almost like game over. It's so much easier to move the ball the 40 yards needed for FG range than it is for the TD.
