Just curious. I think the league should immediately release what the substance was so these cheap "it was in an over the counter drug I took and I didn't know" statements end. It's my understanding, maybe from Petey's stories, that it's the borderline guys who tend to believe that they need the extra boost more frequently (generally) than the established guys. If I were to venture a wild-ass guess, it could be pseudoephedrine, the common active ingredient in Sudafed and a well-known prohibited performance-enhancing substance, historicially popular among NHL players. Sudafed PE contains phenylephrine as the active ingredient, which is not on the prohibited substance list.
