True, but you don’t include a player just because nhl.com lists them as a center ? A list of 2nd line centers should be counted if they played a majority of last season as a center. Doesn’t that make the most logical sense? i would expect, on a good deep team, a 2nd line center to get roughly 50-60 points and play a damn good two way game. On a shallow bad team, roughly under 50 points.

JB will have this upcoming entire season to get the team to trend in the right direction. IF IF IF the team misses the playoffs AND is bottom or near bottom feeder, I think Pegulas fire him. If the team looks good most of the year, but barely miss the playoffs, he’ll get another season. Other factors like key long term injuries or sitting on his hands during the season if the team struggles could affect his job security one way or the other. I wouldn’t use such broad sweeping absolutes like “he sucks” or “he’s awesome”. Because that indicates an F or A+ grade. I think to date, all things considered over the course of 3 off seasons, 3 drafts, and 2 hockey seasons, and what’s he’s helped do in Roch. he’s a solid C+/B-. Good, but much room for improvement.

I don’t think he was saying you personally are full of it. He just doesn’t believe any story about ROR in the locker room unless YOU were actually physically one of those observing instances of ROR in the locker room. Or at the very very least, one degree away from someone who were actually physically in the locker room. That’s certainly not an unreasonable mindset. I kind of lean that way myself. ?‍♂️

Seeing the replies, I have gathered... One could just say Risto sucks and choose not to consider the full, logical, even tempered reasons as to why and how. One could be narrow minded and just say it has all to do with his massive minutes he eats up, the line mates he has or the IQ he possesses. Or one may want to consider it may be a bit of everything and not just one or two things ... ?‍♂️ i think Risto is a victim of his environment as well as the main reason for his current circumstance. It’s a mix of many things with Risto IMO. Some within his control, Some beyond his control. I’m not pointing out any one fan in particular. So I hope I don’t hurt anyone’s feelings by stating an observation and my opinion.

I personally hope Sabretooth picks up his game this year. And the crew who picks the freakin music during breaks in play. Take a page or several pages out of SJ, MTL, and even Vegas.
