  1. I don’t want any part of Laine. It’s been covered well so I won’t parrot the reasons ...
  2. I’ll most likely be throwing mine on eBay unless a family member or friend wants em.
  3. It will be a glorious day when Milbury retires, moves on or gets let go. I literally mute intermissions when I see his dastardly mug.
  4. I wasn’t talking about any one fan in particular. Just an observation in general.
  5. Some hockey fans only count pointzzz when determining if player A is better than player B. Some hockey fans look at other things beyond pointzzz and take that into account as well, when judging a players worth.
  6. I read the title and thought ... no, I would trade 40+ prospects for one player. Even if he is elite. Besides, the NHL would never allow it ? It’s really one or two of the “best” Sabres prospects. And, no, I wouldn’t. Keep developing the youth.
  7. The two “ticket cards” you see in the photo were in that location. I took them out before I took the photo.
  8. Saves me from what? Over reaction as to the level of his suckitude? It’s my opinion of Ted. Agree or disagree, it’s how I feel about his ability as an NHL coach. His ability to motivate doesn’t outweigh his overall lack of ability to coach effectively and long term (well rounded) Flash in the pan coach. Sure we can go back n forth about topics that get us deep in the weeds about rosters, GM’s, Assistant coaches, era, system and owners. But thru it all, I just think he was a bad coach. But great hair! ? but again, this thread is getting off the tracks...
  9. Real as in his signature. Not real as in it’s duplicated 15,000 times for all the STH’s ?
  10. Got my package today ...
  11. Since this thread is going off the rails with Nolan talk... The only thing Ted could possibly do better than Ruff, Bylsma, Housley, and RK, is grow a good head of hair. For my money, Ted flat out sucked for most of his coaching career. And besides the Islanders, the rest of the NHL owners/GM’s agree.
  12. I’m gonna be a Debbie downer I guess. I’m gonna temper my expectations. Pump the brakes. Be even tempered. And say I think Dahlin this season, will take small strides in some areas, but not in the points department. I think he’ll get 40-45 points. Why? Well, because I think more players will focus on him. Knock him around more, take hard runs at him when possible. Try to get him off his game because they know he’s so effective and deadly when he has time and space. Plus he may get dinged up and have some injury issues to deal with. i just don’t see sophomore Dahlin “taking huge ZOMG steps” or being a “top 10 D-man”. 2020-21 I can see him take another jump in development. But hey, that’s why they play the games... ?‍♂️
  13. It seems like (correct me if i’m wrong) living in the buffalo area... pay $50-$60 for internet ... pay $55 a month for Fubo or pay $15-$25 per device for sling pay a few $ a month for a vpn or buy a roku or buy Center ice or NHL.tv if you have multiple TVs that can add up quick. so in the end, I’ll be paying $120-$150 a month on average. I pay spectrum $143 a month for internet and cable now. Where exactly is the savings to make it worth my while? Buffalo cord cutters, shed some light on where my numbers are wrong.
  14. What things do you see that are giving you hope for the coming season? new coach, new roster, proper development What things make you scared? nothing. It’s a freakin game. Oh scratch that, overreaction and kneejerk decisions. And what do you expect is going to happen? Due to key player injuries, we barely miss or barely make the playoffs
  15. So, brainiacs... help me figure this one out.... if I want to cut the cable service but still pay for internet from Spectrum. I live in the Buffalo area. i have an older plasma tv (not smart) no USB ports. I have a PS4 hooked up to it via HDMI. I don’t think Playstation Vue offers WNY MSG. Only the NYC broadcast. But maybe someone can verify this. Fubo TV is very intriguing, but $55 a month is excessive. Especially since the only sport I watch is hockey. Most levels, most leagues. But I see the other non-sport stations Fubo offers and it’s very intriguing again lol. Thoughts/ideas that will work with my current set up? Anyone who is in the Buffalo area with a Fubo setup? How do you like it? Especially for Sabres games. Chime in locals!
  16. Meh. To each his/her own... I enjoy going on road trips and camping/hiking excursions. I’ve summited 25 states. Gonna bang out 3 more in October. I went on a Disney Cruise in 2012 to Bahamas and loved it. It’s the only cruise i ever did. I’ve gone to Disneyland once, and Disneyworld 6 times in my life, and going again next May. I enjoy it. One place I wouldn’t waste my time or money? Freakin bars. Not all patrons obviously, but a good chunk are either horny, alcoholics, desperate for human interaction/lonely or don’t have the ability to come up with better things to do. Again, not all, but a few friends who like the bar scene admit that’s a big chunk of people who enjoy bars. Some grow out of it, some sadly don’t. And no I’m not talking about the people who just meet friends out for a drink or two.
  17. He’ll probably, most likely, conceivably, perhaps, reasonably, plausibly do better than he did last season.
  18. It’s about freakin time! I’ve only been waiting for every game to be available at least streaming ... for 9-10 years now.
  19. Careful now. Even though you type a word, It can be mistakenly assumed it really means another word. And nothing you say will convince them you didn’t say or mean it that way ?
  20. I’ve been on that street before... Somewhere in East Amherst I think. I wish I didn’t watch that video. I feel dumber ?
  21. Some fans actually seriously want Vanek, Roy, Afinogenov and Miller back. Oh and Grigorenko.
