  1. In other words ... you care about their success. ?
  2. Quick google search ... https://www.12up.com/posts/nhl-buyout-rules-explained-01dh6tdme1jh https://www.capfriendly.com/buyout-faq hope that helps you ??
  3. An NHL team you want to see be successful, almost always means the farm team is successful too. So even though Eleven doesn’t see the connection, he indirectly (subconsciously) cares about the Amerks success. Blasphemy, I know ?
  4. Ooooh .... oops. Then my crystal ball is wrong wrong wrong. Dahlin will be 10-12 per easily.
  5. That’s another teams problem ... (Looked at crystal ball)
  6. Huh? I was talking about the man, not the company ?
  7. The ghost of Willis Carrier would like to have a word with you in a air conditioned room please ?

  9. I didn’t say he will or that it’s right. But I can see it happening with the crazy contracts being handed out. And the average salary for NHL backups. I hope he gets closer to 1 mil. or so.
  10. I can see Ullmark getting over 2 mil. a year.
  11. A quick google search ... https://www.nhl.com/devils/news/nhl-expansion-draft-101/c-289908006 https://www.capfriendly.com/teams/sabres
  12. This breaks it down pretty well ... “Remember the number $13 million,” Friedman said. “That’s basically what Toronto’s just done. Between David Clarkson’s contract, which has a year left on it and the bonus has been paid so most of the money has been paid out, Nathan Horton’s contract, which has a year left on it, and I think they will also probably have McDermott and Hyman on long-term injury at the start of the season — although both of those guys are coming back — between all four of those guys they’ve got about $13 million at the beginning of the season in dead money. So depending on what happens with Marner and depending what happens with anything else they want to do, right before the season they’re going to get as close to the cap as they can, then they’re going to put all these guys on LTIR. It’s going to give them some flexibility to do some things with their roster. Basically, they bought extra cap space to keep flexibility at the beginning of the year.” Leafs currently have a cap hit of $82.3 million – $735k above the $81.5 ceiling – but can exceed the threshold by as much as 10 percent ($92.05 million) before opening night rosters must be submitted in October. Since Clarkson and Horton will both be on LTIR for all of next season, their combined $10.55 million cap hits will technically not count against the salary cap threshold, which should open up enough wiggle room to re-sign Mitch Marner longterm. But it’s still going to be an insane juggling act.
  13. Risto will be gone. Plus there’s no way he’s going from playing on the top pair with the most minutes, to playing on the bottom pair with much less ice time. We already have a couple really overpaid bottom dwellers.
  14. For Star Wars fans .... https://mobile.twitter.com/larwoolf/status/1155130413276225536
  15. Not everyone. ?? Some couldn’t care less about that team lol.
  16. I’m 3 episodes in, and it’s very good! That red headed psycho woman is a piece of work! Lol
  17. I don’t read too much into that. Every year is different for every team in the league.
  18. Or to keep things tidy, Mods could just have a Evan Rodriguez thread and EVERYTHING about his contract, his stats, his arbitration, any injuries etc.... gets put in one thread. That way one doesn’t have to search more than one thread to find certain pieces of info pertaining to ERod. That really goes for all players having multiple threads. Now team discussion threads where a player is brought up and discussed is a different kind of thread. And I can see the crossover. But it would be nice to see threads often getting merged. i hope that doesn’t offend anyone. It’s just my opinion ?‍♂️
  19. Feeling optimistic .... let’s see, who’s in the late 1st round that’s decent ...
  20. I’m fine with this. See if he has a nice year that proves his worth. Low risk.
