  2. I read that a few days ago. Didn’t think it was “post worthy” ?
  3. Oh Jason ... http://naturalstattrick.com/playerreport.php?fromseason=20182019&thruseason=20182019&stype=2&sit=5v5&stdoi=oi&rate=n&v=t&playerid=8469506
  4. Ahhh yes ok. Yea I wouldn’t spend a dime on that either. Abomination.
  5. Yea. I personally wouldn’t spend a dime on slug logo stuff. To each his own. What is turdbuger?
  6. I believe he’s doing a take on this ... https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liar_paradox
  7. So it goes around and around, and the agreement now is ... It’s time to move on from Pomms. ?
  8. Walt Disney World Star Wars Hotel .. https://www.popsugar.com/smart-living/Disney-World-Star-Wars-Hotel-Details-46543171?utm_campaign=news_share&utm_medium=apple&utm_source=savvysugar I read it could be as high as $3,300 for the 3 day/2 night stay. I hope that’s not the case ...
  9. I like to call them the Orchard Park Bills ? If the Pegulas/NFL want to be in the closer to the city limits of Buffalo, there’s space along the waterfront leading to Hamburg before the windmills. I have a feeling many politicians, fans, and the owners would love to see a new stadium in Buffalo. But when the money starts to be talked about and who is paying for what ... the discussion quickly dies. ”I want a new stadium!” Let’s see ... to help pay for things ... ok, your parking rates will go up 50%. ok, your ticket prices will go up 25% per year for next three years at least. ok, all NY state residents will see an increase in taxes to help pay for a new stadium and infrastructure like roads, multitude of impact studies etc... The distance to surrounding neighbors decreases. While the number of neighbors that can hear games, traffic, concert noise increases. ”ok, maybe we need to rethink this new stadium thing”
  10. Well, I’m glad I’m not as critical and picky as some comments here. I’m gonna enjoy Mandalorian and Obi-wan just like I’ve enjoyed every movie/show since 1977. ?? Entertainment I enjoy. Haven’t hated anything about the Star Wars movies ... except Jar Jar Binks. ?
  11. Two summers ago. Can’t remember the month. Glad your experiences have been good.
  12. The only food available were concession stand type foods. And the selection was limited and unappealing. Not to mention the line (because everyone was hungry too) was very long. So, did I have a “opportunity”? Yes, in the strictest sense. But we didn’t want any of what the train offered. We did bring some light snacks with us to hold us over with the plan to eat in NYC. For us, it was just an awful experience. But, we arrived alive and returned alive so that’s a nice bonus. ?
  13. Wife and I took Amtrak from Buffalo (depew station) to NYC (MSG) for a concert. It should have been a seven hour ride (according to Amtrak), but there were extended multiple delays and extended stops. It took 10+ hours. We arrived at MSG and sprinted to our seats at MSG and literally sat in them as the headlining act walked on stage. We planned on eating dinner in NYC before the concert. We were starving by the time the concert ended. The bathrooms on the trains were never cleaned or kept up. It was very gross. The train ride back took almost 13 hours to return to Buffalo. All in all just a very very bad experience. I’m glad others may have had good experiences taking trains. If I can avoid it, I’ll never take another Amtrak train again.
  14. This is where I’m at as well. I’m placing more importance on his proper development and usage this season. The points will come. Even if it’s “only” 40-45 points this season. He’s gonna get pressured even more by the forecheck and targeted even more. I hope he perseveres and stays healthy.
  15. And I don’t agree with saying hitting a brick wall and saying a player is slow is the same thing. Touché. Agree to disagree.
  16. Not in my vocabulary. I typed what I meant. For clarity (because it needs it I guess) ... his speed is average. Not fast, not slow. He absolutely loses a gear as the season wears on. It’s noticeable. That also doesn’t mean he’s slow. He noticeably hits a wall with awareness and sharpness as the season wears on. And his stamina throughout his shifts suffer noticeably too. There’s a obvious reason the Wild had him on the 3rd line and sometimes 4th in his last year there. Same goes for last year in Buffalo. I like Pomms, I do. But it’s just time to walk away from his services.
  17. You quoted the wrong person if you take exception to the use of the word “slow”.
  18. If one could take an objective look at Pomms. He’s close to being done. Very close. He’ll look good in summer scrimmage of course. He’ll look good in training camp of course. He’ll look good in preseason games of course. He’ll look good the first 20 games of the season of course. Then ... the brick wall starts to creep in and he starts to look baaaaad the majority of the rest of the regular season. I like pomms, I do. But it’s just time to walk away from him. The team doesn’t benefit nearly as much as it used to with him on the team.
  19. I agree. If it’s the Triple J line, a nice productive year (strictly speaking goals) would be Jeff at 35, Jack at 45, and Jimmy at 25. Anything north of that would be a welcome bonus.
  20. I had a bad experience with taking a train from Buffalo to NYC and back. Never again. If I were you, I’d gladly drive the 7 hours. a friend of mine has celiacs. She has no problem finding GF food around town. I would highly suggest planning ahead by calling Several restaurants you would like to eat at and see what they can do for GF people. Or go online to peek at their menus. Dedicated GF fryers etc... i know Chef’s has GF pasta. My friend has eaten there a few times. No issue. things close by the arena ... https://buffalowaterfront.com/
  21. Not worried in the least about Mitts one year in the books in a professional league. He’ll take developmental steps every year.
  22. JB can say all he wants. RK will construct the lines as he sees fit. As a coach should. Suggestions or opinions are much different than demands.
  23. I’ve owned seasons since 2004 (summer leading into the lockout year), in section 320. I’ve saved all my invoices from every year. I crunched the numbers, and to date, factoring parking, and grabbing occasional grub, and occasional gear, I’ve spent just over $40,000 on the Sabres/going to games. It was more than I thought.
