Sadly, this behavior is not surprising as more and more people in modern times harvest our children for sexual exploitation and are becoming more publicly outspoken in defense of such practices. From power elites to common citizens it appears to be spreading all over. While I know the victim will never be he same I hope they can recover enough to live a healthy, happy life. Just sad.

Didn’t we get McLeod in that trade?

Is it okay to say the Sabres “won” that trade?

… not sure of the rules anymore.

Tuch’s price may now exceed Dahlin’s at this point.  GMKA was wrong again to not sign him during the offseason.

But did he try? Did Tuch say no? What was the offer?

Barzal healthy scratch tonight (missed a meeting). Would love to see him in buffalo.

22 Team M-NTC, unfortunately. He would be someone to target if they ever even thought of moving Power.

and the sadder thing is the league doesn't get it. They just made the Vegas Philly game a national game as the "return of Carter Hart to Philly" game. I mean talk about not getting it.

The league doesn't get it because they have no incentives to "get it" and their broadcast partners have never gotten it going back at minimum to the days NBC couldn't wait to get Marv Albert back behind a mic.

True, but highlighting it as an event just seems so wrong on so many levels.

To be fair, of the forwards drafted #9 (Savoie) or later in the first round, only Nazar (13) and Kulich (28) have made any difference as of yet.

And after the 1st round, only Poitras and Hutson have done anything in that class. Savoie will get that shield down, we gotta give him more time.

Well it wasn't pretty but Matt got his first goal last night. Bounced off his leg at the end of a power play. Hope it goes better for him.

Nobody is watching anyway, so maybe it doesn't matter? I mean an NFL week 3 pre-season game likely gets higher ratings than the Stanley Cup Finals.

Sure.  The Sabres keep "winning trades" yet they continue to drop in the standings.

Look at the last 3 games.  Is this the identity they are forming or will some players emerge to turn this around?

I would trade Power for Barzal.  I think we have enough top prosect on defense to move Power in an effort to fix the top 6 and try to start winning again.

They can put other trappings around it to even things up and maybe the Sabres get another piece.   I think Barzal immediately becomes the 1C and he would help Tage immensely.

If Josh Norris ever comes back, then Barzal and Norris would be the 1 and 2, McLeod the 3, KoShack the 4.  Kulich and Krebs are wingers that can also play center.    Now its looking a bit more sturdy.

Kesselring picks up some of the minutes that Power was getting.

Is he going in as a member of any team?

NHL technically doesn't do that.  Players go in for their careers and not as a member of a particular team.  Which is unlike how MLB does it and how the NFL seems to do it.

It makes so much more sense too. Was it Rickey that tried to sell of his hat to the highest bidder?

They should just put the player’s face on the plaque and then a bunch of tiny logos below him.
