Lyon is having a desperate tantrum on the phone line asking if there’s anything he can do to veto this. Contacting doctors complaining of high cholesterol..things of that nature

Yeah, I mean it seems fair, but it seems surprising given the lack of UFA choices.

Maybe no one else was offering 2 years?

I'm surprised the Sabres gave a 2nd year. It's against Adams' programming to do so for the other goalie. But heck, "We got Lyon!"

Now Levi can wreck it all (and gosh I hope he does).

I can’t complain too much about the signing but god does it seem like the Sabres are acting like broke mofos.

Well, we were in on a lot of conversations. Big conversations. But in the end, we hadn't planted enough palm trees. And our fans were fed misinformation, which really gets my goat, and I'm sad for them that we just have to go into the season with our RFAs, except for McLeod whom we took the picks for on the offer sheet because that 5x$4.5M was just too much because he'd block Helenius in year 3. But I have all the resources I need!
