Thanks for the respect. I am a 50 year Sabres fan so my desire to bring the Cup “home” is on a back burner. I am not pulling for either team this year. Panthers have their Cup but I love their game and wouldn’t be upset with a repeat. I still have a soft spot for Sam as well. My only reason to cheer for the Oilers is for McDavid’s legacy. He has won everything but a Cup and it is his motivation at this time. Couldn’t care less about Draisaitl, I have a hard time seeing him as a superstar in his own right. He is more like Malkin in my eyes, excellent player who can take over a game but not generational. Kane and Skinner winning would be irritating. Quote
TheAud Posted Tuesday at 03:58 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 03:58 PM Rooting for the Oilers so Jeff Skinner and Evander Kane can be added to the illustrious list. Maybe Matt Savoie too? 1 1 Quote

Hawerchuk Posted Tuesday at 04:05 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 04:05 PM I really wish the NHL would drop 10-12 games from the regular season. Its too damn long. I don't like the Cup awarded in the third week of June. It should be done by end of May. Cut out some preseason games and start the season in September. I love hockey, but there are too many games and a late trophy. Obviously this won't happen because the owners heads would explode losing money, god forbid. Just my opinion. Will Canada's drought continue.... 1993? Stay tuned. Hope the series is a good one. 1 3 1 Quote

Might need to take away McLeod's belt and shoelaces and keep him away from sharp objects and windows on upper floors. Quote

I get the fact they won't ( $$$$$ ). 1 Quote

And it becomes an 80% league. The playoffs are the only games where you see 100% effort for extended periods. 1 1 Quote

I liked his humor. Jeff Skinner, the person does not bother me. I certainly don’t root against him or any team he plays on. Just glad he’s not wasting a roster spot on this team (I know how worse off would they be with him). I’m hoping McDavid gets his cup. Been a long time coming. 1 Quote
Rasmus_ Posted 19 hours ago Report Posted 19 hours ago Here's hoping Skinner can win a cup. As well as McDavid/Draisaitl, who are deserving of their chance to hoist the cup. In addititon, it's long time a Canadian market that isn't Toronto wins a cup. I never want to see that happen. 47 minutes ago, inkman said: Jeff Skinner, the person does not bother me. RangerDave Posted 19 hours ago Report Posted 19 hours ago Arent't the Sabres still paying Skinner? So...we can say a current Sabre (employee) is playing for the cup?? Does that count?? 🤔 3 Quote
steveoath Posted 13 hours ago Report Posted 13 hours ago There is only one Sir Jeffrey Skinnington. Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted 10 hours ago Report Posted 10 hours ago Interesting goal, Driestal didn't rush to front of net, very patient, just stopped and watched and puck came to him. Quote
GoPuckYourself Posted 10 hours ago Report Posted 10 hours ago What a terrible goal allowed, if that isn't goaltender interference than what is? Quote
