Pimlach Posted September 14 Report Posted September 14 Seemed like an easy win for the Bills. The Jets fans were out of the game almost immediately. The Jets coach took no chances either. First time in the Allen era that they won a game and Allen did not run or throw for a TD. They need to stay focused and be ready for the Dolphin on Thursday. Short week to get ready but at least its a home game. GO BILLS!!! Quote

Flashsabre Posted September 14 Report Posted September 14 Bosa was a difference maker today. I read a lot of people over the summer that wanted to move on from Cook. They are eating some crow. (Not saying this board necessarily, it was all around social media) 1 1 Quote
triumph_communes Posted September 14 Report Posted September 14 Glad to hear cook as long as the salary isn’t restricting us our secondary is suspect tho Quote

Night Train Posted September 14 Report Posted September 14 2-0... with 0-2 struggling Miami here Thursday. Yes they have work to do but this is how you grab wins. Schedule gets harder later. Stack wins. Quote

Flashsabre Posted September 15 Report Posted September 15 I have a feeling if Buffalo beats Miami on Thursday that coach McDaniel might be nearing the end of his run. 1 Quote

K-9 Posted September 15 Report Posted September 15 Regarding McDaniel, I suspect he is less of the problem in South Beach than we might think. But as the saying goes, you can’t fire all the players, so he will be the sacrificial lamb. Whomever the new coach ends up being is gonna inherit the same dysfunctional group of players to manage. 1 Quote

His offense has regressed tremendously since the league started to crackdown on players (Hill, cough, cough, Waddle to a lesser degree, cough, cough) in motion turning upfield a step or 2 or 6 before the ball is actually snapped. Since that little cheat code got removed the O has been noticably easier to defend against. The players haven't changed significantly the past year+, but enforcement of the rules certainly has. Quote

They ALWAYS (well, almost always) had somebody in motion at the snap, and if it was Hill, he'd turned upfield WELL before the ball actually snapped. A bit tougher to cover when he's already fully accelerating at the defender prior to the ball being snapped. Waddle and the others were prone to doing that as well. But Hill was very blatent about it. And that was taken away from them before last season started. 1 Quote

That, and teams had figured out pretty quickly to clog things up, take away Tua's first read, and he's screwed. Quote
