They play like they did against the Rangers and they will have a solid chance. In this game and for the playoffs. Tuch is back. No question he adds an element that no other current player provides to this team

Islanders are nervous. They had a nice slump mid-season. The pressures mounting, and they're barely holding onto that last wild card spot. Out of the Sabres, Florida and Ottawa, the Islanders are the worst. Sorokin is their forever MVP

They better hope the Sabres don't go on a run...

LETS GO

But have they beaten the benchmark, the vaunted 81 points team of Bylsma? Until they do that, nothing has changed.

Nope 5 more wins ties it and any othe points beyond it put them at or above an NHL 0.500.  For the 1st time since 2012.

Hopefully Levi playing in NCAA tourney.....

We need him in '23-24. Based on his past, he is focused on his development. I expect him to continue .....

Sabres need to get another G for NHL team next year with UPL (not sure if he is 1A or 1B, depending....). Levi will grow in ROCH next year, and will see what the year brings. I hear he may be ready '24-25. GMKA will not rush him. I think he is our future #1.....

Lack of Patience.

It's still going to be a tall order.

JFC, it is amazing just how bad this team has been over the past decade.

Five months this season have taught me to not get too high or too low on this edition of the Sabres. I’ve also learned that you can get very high on the Sabres future. It’s gonna be fun.

Tonight taught me that they are a totally different team with Alex Tuch. I’d wager if he wasn’t playing tonight, it would have gotten out of hand after the Leafs got those two quick goals. Instead, they stood up, dusted themselves off, and proceeded  to kick their ass for the rest of the period.
