North Buffalo
If I had to guess, I'd say his name sounds like "peeloot", a great match for Poo. You had to go there. LMFAO
LGR4GM
Well this is still good news. Adding a 22 year old to a young defense core is good.

It's also just nice to know the management understands the need to improve at D and is out there hustling for talent. Even if he does not work out I like the effort
WildCard
@SabresProspects Rumored to soon be joining the #Sabres, Lawrence Pilut has been named 2017-2018 SHL Defenseman of the Year.
Brawndo
But Dahlin finishes 3rd Overall in ROY Voting in The SHL. We better draft Tkachuk instead

GASabresIUFAN
@SabresProspects Rumored to soon be joining the #Sabres, Lawrence Pilut has been named 2017-2018 SHL Defenseman of the Year. Actually he was voted the top native born SHL defenseman. They call is the Salming award. What is interesting that TBN thinks he is headed straight to Roch while Dahlin will make the big club. While Dahlin is clearly the better talent, this kid had an incredible year in the SHL and even outscored Dahlin. I think Jbot likely feels that this kid could make the Sabres out of camp. Brawndo
Is it possible he won both? The award you mentioned has been known for a few days and the SHL Defenseman of the Year was just announced today.
Randall Flagg
How is that even possible  Pretty sure Elias Pettersson had a near-record-setting season scoring wise...as a rookie, so he's got to be the winner.

Sabre fan
can't see Pilut signing with us if he's headed for Rochester. There are many teams that would assure him a starting role on the big club to sign with them just as Butcher did with jersey and we did with Antipin. Rasmus_
Depth is depth. Adding it is what this team needs to create, to force both play and competition and every level. The defense in this organization in the past few seasons has been a joke. To be blunt. This is the draft class to go D, D, D. Depending on BPA and what falls. LTS
Yeah, Pilut isn't going to the A. He's on the team. Nah. It was more like they asked him to go to the AHL. He countered with an acceptance of an additional $500k salary and being the first call up if Bogosian gets injured. The Sabres agreed. He's a smart guy that Pilut.
