They CAN be a pretty decent team when they want to actually work and hustle...this team should be 3-4 points out of a playoff spot instead of where they are at...how many games have they sleepwalked in this year? How do these players find playing like they have been most of the past 3 years acceptable on any level as a competitor?? Its disgusting and these players should be embarrassed by it. Taro T Posted January 26, 2018 Report Share Posted January 26, 2018 They were outplayed a lot early in that period, but really didn't give up more than about 3 GOOD scoring chances. To think, if Beaulieu didn't get a concussion, Antipin might never havd gotten a chance. Really liking his game. Not sure if it's projection or not, but McCabe seems to be having a very good game as well. Even Nelson hasn't been scary yet. Very pleased w/ the D tonight. Too bad Kane can't play in Vancouver every night. He's having his best game of January (a lack of finishing not withstanding, he's getting & creating chances). All 4 lines getting chances. Hope Housley keeps these together (at least until Botterill starts the inevitable trade process). Keep it up in the 3rd, boys & go into the break on a high note.
