Finally found my way back to my laptop.

 

The Sabs looked like they were skating in mud through two periods.  I'm listening and not watching now, but I was not at all happy with what I saw.

 

And I know that many of the goals weren't Lehner's fault, but if Housley's system is going to work, they need more of Ryan Miller and less of Darren Puppa back there.  He will have to make some "miracle" saves for this to be successful.  I'm not sure he's the guy for this system or vice-versa.

I'd feel better if there was anything positive to take away from their 5 on 5 play but there ain't much

We aren't dictating play in their end, I'm still waiting to see the D get a clean shot on goal.

D4rk called it a while ago and I've seen nothing to show he was wrong.

That said Nathan Beaulieu wasn't exactly his best friend back there. Marc Bergevin is smiling tonight.

Girgensons, Okposo, and Larsson have had good games as well.

 

I'll agree with that.
