WildCard
There's only 1 acceptable answer for this. Hot dogs and peanuts are for baseball, and pizza should never be eaten at a sports game. Popcorn is for movies Pretzel i can live with on second thought Edited January 7, 2017 by WildCard
inkman
I will add choices if we get a consensus that an item is a must.

Popcorn is for movies I tend to agree but if enough weirdos want to shove wieners in their gullets at hockey games, who am I to judge? PASabreFan
 Our mental age is 14. Nothing that can make a huge mess is good. Nachos and cheese, the cheese stays stuck to the nacho no matter what. Pizza is just not tenable. Or like a drippy beef on weck (which is terrible anyway at the arena). No soup either. Nothing in a thermos. So pretty much nachos and cheese.
skaught
I voted other, when I goto AHL games here, there's a canadian place in the arena that sells really good Poutine.
PASabreFan
Intermission vs. live action food, is that a distinction worth making? What do the in the suites eat? Arugula and scallops? Not that.
tom webster
I'm still searching for something that surpasses fried bologna at the Aud.
woods-racer
Intermission vs. live action food, is that a distinction worth making? What do the ###### in the suites eat? Arugula and scallops? Not that. Been in the suites a couple times, must have been the low brow suites cause we had finger foods. Chicken wings, little bite sized pizzas, those breaded cheese stick things. Edited January 8, 2017 by Woods-Racer
inkman
Rochester has Beef on Weck, Southwest style burritos (like Moe's) , Philly steak, and of course garbage plates. They might rival a balogna sammich.
woods-racer
I voted other. You had me at bologna sandwich.
Eleven
I'm still searching for something that surpasses fried bologna at the Aud. Me too. It's the best thing they have, which says a lot. Soft pretzels aren't bad, either. Eat before the game FTW though.

PASabreFan
It's nachos. There is no other choice. Perhaps THIS is the unholy alliance we have been seeking.
inkman
OK. So are we making this poll just for Buffalo or are we making it all inclusive?
SwampD
I don't know a single person who eats at a hockey game. But if I did, it would be a pretzel.
sodbuster
For me it's a tie between soft pretzels and nachos, with the breaker going to the nachos. A salty soft pretzel goes really great with beer, but nachos are just so satisfying.
