No, I disagree, stay in your seat. If it comes to you its yours. Karen shouldn't be expected to wage a battle in her seat area from some clown running through the stands to get a ball. Following the "rules" you state and its no wonder there was a confrontation. I think he knew he was wrong that's why he surrendered the ball.

It didn't come to her seat, and if it did, she could have leaned over and picked it up.  The man is not "some clown," and you're just off, here.

Done with this; you can argue with others.

Speaking of making things up.  It was a row ahead of her.   It wasn't "right at her feet."

No it wasn't.  It was a row ahead of her.  If it were at her feet, the man that ended up with the ball would not have been able to get it.

FBOW, I don’t go out to dinner very often.  Almost always at the best of my parents or in laws. This time my son was pumped for some OG.  So we hit up Olive Garden (btw the no reservations thing sucks because apparently most people are willing to wait 45+ minutes for table so for people like me who would scoff at this type of wait was locked in because of the boy.

So we are waiting outside with at least 20 other people and chaos ensues.  Kid behind us is throwing golf ball sized rocks in every direction, nearly hitting multiple elderly people who looked about one rock hit away from the end .

Two toddler siblings across from us are going mostly unwatched.  The younger one (I’d say under 2) get ahold of his sister’s Barbie and throws it over the bench they are sitting on. Big sis is having none of this and slams little bros head into the back of the bench.

Everyone is now screaming.  They are barely consoling the screaming toddler and have no control over anything with their kids.  We then get inside.  Almost every table has toddlers at it.  Is this normal?

Chain restaurants that are popular on a weekend... 100%, I was at the local ymca today just to use the steam room and the hot tub... Similar situation, kids not listening to lifeguards, going into the steam room that is 18 and older, diving into pool after being told not to... Parents just trying to have a social life away from the kids... Ignoring all the shenanigans... Par for the course.

Put this in the wrong thread initially……oops, sorry.

Last year I picked up the Ryobi 80v zero turn 42” deck mower. Big yard, but cutting gets it done with around 25% battery left. 2 x 80v suitcase batteries and 1 x 40v multi-purpose battery come with it. It has the capacity for 3 x 80v and 4 x 40v fully loaded. Just haven’t had the need for justifying the extra battery capacity purchase.

So, I am happy with its performance and, being an industrial E&I tech I fully appreciate the cost savings over gas and the environmental aspects.

That all being said, I picked up the leaf collector accessory with blower motor for clearing the chute. I just ran it for the first time, completed 2/3rd of the yard before dropping below 10% on battery. Plus, I’m not overly impressed with the performance given the initial cost of $650 for the leaf collector accessory.

A couple evenings ago, my son and his wife became aware of a dog wandering the streets.  I guess it was pretty obviously dumped in the neighborhood.  Someone took it off the street to keep it safe, but wasn’t able to hold it.  My son tracked down a rescue group that agreed to step in.  He has decided to foster it, get it crate and house trained, and healed up.  It has open wounds on its paws pads and appears to have some sort of skin issue/infection.  If it goes well, the kids may adopt it themselves, but for now have committed to fostering it in preparation for someone to adopt it.

I am proud as hell that these kids are so good hearted, but man, they have some work cut out for them.  Its an adult dog that was never trained and is minimally socialized.

Sad news today regarding the kid’s foster dog.  Pup went to the vet this morning to get neutered.  The little guy apparently had a heart attack under sedation and didn’t make it.  The kids are crushed.  He was an easy dog to get attached to.  We’re all hurting a bit right now.
