It wasn't a great pass, but I think that's on Gionta as well. Plus, I think if Ennis or Moulson are out there, they don't enter the zone like that; Eichel seemed kind of unsure what to do with the puck right there, lost between cafrrying it in or passing it. I'm hoping this is just him trying out a few variations to see how they play with each other in case they juggle lines in the middle of a regular season game.  So, what do we go for first in the draft/offseason? Defense or Wing? In the draft we take the best player available. In the offseason we focus on a young LHD.  There will be growing pains this season. Don't worry too much.
