At $2 million still next season for a guy who might be AHL bad, it's not totally free, so I can see arguments against. There's a reason why he's on waivers. Nobody's happy with our #3-#8 defensemen.............. why bring in more who will be just as inept? Just because he wasn't good enough in Detroit doesn't mean he wouldn't be better than our 6/7 slot.
