But, comparing last year's roster to this year's we should be significantly more competitive. Gorges is better than McBain and Gionta is better than D'Agostini/Conacher. Overpaid, but We knew we would have to. A bit, but he was getting $5 million per in Montreal. Potato beat me to it. And a relatively short term too. It's not an outrageous Orpik-style overpayment.
