frissonic Posted February 27, 2012 Report Share Posted February 27, 2012 if it is indeed a first, regier's status just went up quite a bit. a second ... meh. status quo. third? he's a worse GM than we even thought possible. now the question becomes this: WILL he come back in the summer? listening to GR all morning, sending him out as a rental to wherever then bringing him back as an unrestricted free agent, then this is insanely awesome. the hotly rumored team was detroit. IF detroit went deep into the playoffs, or heaven forbid wins it all, how likely would it be that goose comes back to buffalo in july? nashville? probably not going too deep--more than likely not to the finals. and goose has been quoted as saying he WANTS to stay in buffalo. hmm.
