bunomatic
Those with center ice may have seen this, this past Saturday night right before the late HNIC game... LOL!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NjYCL4GzR_M&feature=player_embedded It's funny to me how Scott Oake freaks, like everyone else would, but Kevin Weekes is as calm as they get. Doesn't even lose his train of thought. lol Ron Mcleans follow up right after was good too where he said that Kevin was always weak on the blocker side. shrader
per TSN: COL's Scott Hannan has been traded to Washington Capitals. Colorado's making a couple moves. Yesterday they picked up Hunwick from the Bruins for prospect Colby Cohen (best goal ever!).

darksabre
I hear Glencross cross checked Ballard in the face last night, facing suspension. Anyone see it? clip? Pretty brutal. Ballard went lookin' for it though. Probably was expecting fists, not a stick, in the yap. Vokoun probably told Glencross to do it.

spndnchz
Fined, but not suspended. I wonder if Boll gets anything for last nights hit on Morrisson? Jared Boll fined $2,500 by NHL but no suspension 4 targeting Shaone Morrisonn's head in hit Friday vs. BUF

bunomatic
Seen a few of those type of saves this year. Goalie puts himself out of position and has to scramble to get back. Nice save. He's playing well for what looks like a pretty impressive playoff type team but in the playoffs I'm not sure his style will carry them through 16 wins. He always seems to get caught out of position. Maybe not as much this year.

I think they are good enough to get away with that well into the postseason.

Two or less
During last nights Sunday night football game, NBC aired the winter classic commercial for the first time.... http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/blog/puck_daddy/post/Video-2011-NHL-Winter-Classic-ad-leaves-much-to?urn=nhl-292005 I think they've done a much better job in the past. Also, as somebody said last night, it's pretty ballsy of the NHL to have a massive rain storm/thunder storm on Ovie/Crosby... when that is the biggest nightmare the NHL would face. lol

carpandean
Odd game in Philly. Flyers blow a 4-1 lead on the Sharks; head to OT tied 4-4. Coincidental minors lead to nearly two minutes of 3-on-3. Flyers appear to score just before end of OT, but it was still 6" (maybe) from line when clock hit 0:00. Sharks win SO 2-0. Now that's close: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8E7NQRRk-
