It’s not a good contract but $4.3 million is not a back breaker, especially with where the cap is supposed to go. I even said it when they signed it, if it went wrong, that one was never going to cripple them.

The problem is, I don't see them anywhere close to giving him the Jeff Skinner goodbye. The time to do it was this offseason and instead they seem to be doubling down on telling us how awesome he is.

Adams thinks he brings leadership to the ice bath and sauna rooms... plus muel apparently hits the golf ball 325 ... Adams just shoring up his April 10th Scramble 4 some.  trust the process....  lol... but seriously we simply need to accept that Greenway and Muel are 40/60 to be in the line up any given night... the fact that Adams paid them like mainstays and leaders of the team... doesnt make them so... they are nothing more than occasional fill ins that I literally expect zero from.

The buyout went from 700k per season before this season to 1.4 if bought out next off-season.  As usually, another great decision by GM Howdy Doody.

I doubt it happens, he makes above league minimum too, although many teams have the space.

Baby steps, KA caves in and waives him first. I would love him to get claimed, be done with him until his return tribute video that KA personally produces.

This is Bryson and his 254 career GP erasure! 

If Bryson is the 7-8, Mrtka eventually gets sent down, and Muel continues to miss time... eventually Bryson will get in the lineup for the Sabres this season. And if he does, here are some folks who are within range for him to pass on the all-time Sabres regular season games played list:
