I suspect we get very little for him even if we retain salary. I would pass on him. if he was two or three years younger, he would be an attractive piece to obtain. Given what return has been for players of VO’s ilk, with little term left, have been going for, I’d be surprised if the Sabres could get anything more than a late round pick. I do not want to see another roster spot taken up by an older player and say he brings "leadership" to the locker room. The Sabres have enough leadership.
