The most underappreciated aspect of hockey is how much randomness affects the game. Reinhart doesn’t score that overtime goal if the goalie didn’t happen to look the wrong way during the wraparound. That missed point shot of the back boards caroming out... Shiver me timbers. Probably more than 50% of my addled brain believes in Hockey Gods.
