They are still in a rebuild. Toronto has one of the deepest, most talented, most experienced rosters in the league. These games are going to happen against teams like that until these guys grow and more pieces are added. I mean was right in eyesight laying next to the post with Samsonov looking for it. The Leafs stopped playing in the 3rd up 5-0 that game sucked from start to finish and Buffalo never got off the bus… they are AWFUL at home. thewookie1 Posted February 22, 2023 Report Share Posted February 22, 2023 I’d love to understand why they are so sluggish to start; they have such trouble in either the 1st or 2nd at competing and beating other teams. Granato has issues with inter-period shifts but seems to have a knack for getting them to jump after a bad period. Not sure what to make of it.
