Let's say Buffalo has a 50% chance of making it to the Super Bowl thanks to the conditions. The NFC has a seemingly much tighter race, with better QB play thus far. Any one team in the NFC might only have 20% chance of making the Super Bowl. Therefore, even if most NFC teams might match up fine against Buffalo, they each have a lower chance of making it to the Super Bowl, let alone winning it.
