Teams always own the rights to drafted Junior players for 2 years after being drafted. I wouldn't pu pu the idea that he'll use this experience to come back tougher and stronger. Often these guys get signed right at the end. Cornel being a recent example. I'm sure Pu will get a deal, probably not until 2018 though.
