3putt
Pysyk is here to stay. Larsson is not going anywhere. We desparately need Bogo back. Ochocinco was solid all things considered. McGinn surprised but needs the physicality of the third from the get go. Risto was rusty but it came together in the third. Jack. Nuff said. Trettioåtta
I really liked Kane's aggressive forechecking. Plus I think his style of play brings something unique to the table, even if it is a bit selfish - might have something to do with never having a true centre. Maybe it will get better as he trusts his C more Edited October 9, 2015 by ThirtyEight
thewookie1
The challenge was a travesty due to it being not in anyway effecting the goal. They definitely need to change it with time in mind. If the offside doesn't directly cause the goal then it shouldn't be baring on the play's result. The 3rd period though was fun to watch and made the whole game worth it. After the disallowed goal, Kane made the hilarious play on the forecheck when he literally stiff armed a D-man off the puck and took it behind the net and nearly scored again. Jsixspd
What a crock of that call was. Another Buffalo screw job. What was Zemgus offside by? an inch??? How many goals in NHL history would be disallowed by this new momentum killing challenge nonsense? It's hard for a human eye to even perceive that small an infraction. Game went from a great comeback game where Buffalo's two new stars each get a goal to tie it up to this crap. Fans should be ANGRY!!!! Mustache of God
Eichel goal was great and all but this team really needs to play 60 minutes. We saw the same thing in that game against Minnesota. That offsides challenge hurts but we'll get some calls in our favor down the line. Remember that as long as the puck doesn't leave the zone, they can go back and review an offside. Imagine losing a playoff series winning goal or overtime goal after you've had the puck in the opposing zone for two minutes. What is the league thinking? I guess they love to take away offense. Jsixspd
Fans are going to get sick of the coaches challenge very fast. It was DISGUSTING!!!! It didn't have the slightest effect on the outcome of the play - not a bit! Even worse, play continued on for, what , another minute??? It should have to be challenged immediately or not at all. And just by a coincidence, Buffalo takes it on the chin from some new rule. At no time in NHL history would that goal have ever been waived off. A travesty!!!! That Aud Smell
How so? Maybe I need to listen again. He just seemed to falter, and sink under the weight of the moment. Perhaps equivocal is not the word I wanted.
Claude Balls
Oh and foligno needs a come to Jesus. Either hit or score, I saw no promise of either. I hope you're being sarcastic. He was the only one hitting and he had a beautiful assist on Eichel's goal.
X. Benedict
Fans are going to get sick of the coaches challenge very fast. The offside challenge just sucks. It is possible to win the zone, hold the puck for 2 minutes in the zone, change all 5 skaters, take 11 shots, get a goal, and then have the goal reversed on the original off-sides from the 2 minutes prior. It is a dumb rule. It really is silly. The same could be true of a power play on some didly entry that the linesman just missed, and the defense didn't try to stand up anyway. The offensive team holds the puck in the zone, the defense recovers, gets in the box, but then the O scores well after the defense fully recovers. It can be reversed. It is just a mind-numbing rule. And totally counter to the flow of the game. Hate it. Edited October 9, 2015 by X. Benedict

Yeah, it's unbelievable that play could continue on so long as that before a 'challenge' issued. Somebody must be in Ottawa's booth reviewing video - because that "offside' wasn't even perceptible unless viewed in super slow motion; or frame by frame. How many times have seen BOSTON just skate right in 2 or 3 feet offside or more and no one ever did anything. What a crock!!!!! Jsixspd
The chemistry wasn't. That's gonna take a little time. Doesn't help with all the line changes either, while the coach figures things out. But the 3rd looked a lot better than 1st and 2nd. Things should be ok, so long as Buffalo isn't 'helped' by the officials like they were tonight.
