Now great Pizza apparently is ###### impossible down here.

Don't even get me started. They put American cheese on it here. I swear to little baby Jesus. American! It's a disgrace! You'd have to be a coal miner with no taste buds to eat this !

So where in Montreal would you suggest?

Go to dunns which is on metcalf street. If you ever get there then try the smoked meat egg rolls as an app and Reuben as your main.

Google their menu, I've only been twice but tried different things both times and everything was delicious.

It's really not so much different from pastrami anywhere else.  It's ###### pastrami.  I've been to three NYC "you just HAVE to go there" delis, and it's the same stuff I'd get at Tops--TOPS, not even Wegmans--but piled about five inches high on inferior bread.  I don't need five inches of meat (insert joke here) and I don't need a pickle that's better than the sandwich.

What the NYC Jewish delis do that no one else does really comes down to bagels w/ lox (do not even try to tell me that Bagel Jay's is the same) and knishes.  And if you're fortunate enough to go to a Toronto Jewish deli, the kishkas.  (I hope I spelled that correctly.)

Mazel tov!

mozzeralla, parmesan are musts, american is a no no, cheddar is just weird, provolone is passeble but iffy

Cheddar you can do but typically your pizza cheeses are Mozzarella,  Romano/Parmesean.

Of course back in my youth we had cheddar, asiago, swiss, provolone, Gouda, and feta that you could order but most pies came with Mozzarella as a base.

###### no!

I believe cheddar is one of the cheeses in the package of "pizza mix" cheese. Not that that makes it right of course.

When I make homemade pizza, I always use a sharp white cheddar. I'm sorry.

Stick to pagash, PA. Leave the pizza to the New Yorkers. :p Edited by ubkev

What, are you kidding?

Floss your braces.

And come back with real pizza.  No one was putting gouda on pizza "back in your youth."

Someone with the handle, "Buffalo39", at HockeyBuzz is reporting that Babcock to Buffalo is a done deal at $6m per year. Apparently he's been right about a couple deals in the past so who knows.

GO SABRES!!!

Not getting my hopes up, but that'd be cool.

I'd be cool with Disco Dan too.

That sight is full of interesting stuff from Buffalo39. He goes on to report that Eichel's girlfriend goes to BU, she's from Buffalo, and that Eichel has already told the Sabres he's not going back to college. Also, the night of the lottery, Eichel was with family and they let out a huge cheer when Buffalo ended up not picking #1. Who knows if there's any credence to any of that, but apparently this guy called the Kane trade the day before it went down.

Well because I like all of that I'm going to choose to believe it.

Impressive on the Kane trade though, I don't think anyone else saw that coming.

Well I have been reading those comment sections for a while now, and Sabres89* has been right alot.   6 mill a year i doubt he'll resist that kind of money though.

Usually not about terms and such, but when he got a sniff of a deal last two years, its been in the area.

Edit: I might be drunk , but i think allthough we want the best available to come to the sabres, most of us want to see some progress after the last 3 years.

Even if its Babcock, Bylsma, Deboer or anyone else, we want to see a playoff team next year, a contender for years to come.

Didn't you read the part i said i was drunk :P

Most recently he been right about the Myers deal two days before anyone else, the only thing that was missing from his predictions was kassdorf coming back also.

Anyway 6 mill seems like alot, and i got the poster wrong buffalo39 vs Sabres89, then agian im still confused if they are the same or not. :D

But i wouldn't be surprised, if Pegula wants something he is ###### getting it.

On a side note , wich i think is very funny, most likely will piss you guys off.

As a Euro, talking to other americans about Buffalo, but for some reason they all dislike you guys :D

No offense, i do my best saying most buffalo peeps i talk to online I like, they all seem to have a grudge with you guys.

from California, Georgia, NY they really seem to go out of their way to tell me there shouldn't be an NFL or NHL team in buffalo.

Wich i find funny because you guys are very passionate and i can't see you guys supporting a relocated team.

And when I tell them they are wrong about seeing it just as Buffalo team, they should go wider to south ontaria , western NY area, maybe im wrong or they are just not getting it.
