That said, if they can get any of the 3 (including Cassel) to play better than Cassel, they should be playoff bound. And before someone comes back w/ "Cassel by definition can't be better than himself," think Alex Smith. He's had 2 seasons where he was better than Alex Smith. He's not overrated when he's on the field. I don't think you can call a guy overrated after he gets injured. EJ with the perfect throw to a wide open Charles Clay there. Big Play Clay. 67-yard TD.
