Are you just trying to get to 20 k? He was solid most of the night. He was very responsible on d and his backhand pass to Stewart is a flash of of his potential on o. They are inexperienced and made the the mistakes you g guys make. Hopefully they learn

He was weak in OT and it gave the Bruins the chance to win. He needs to win possession when it matters. He'll get there I hope.

Grigo is a player with the eyes and the hands to complement Hodgson.

Hodgson's biggest problem compared to last year is the lack of someone to play give-and-go with, coupled with the fact Nolan doesn't want his team to play that way.

Grigorenko set him up for a couple beauties tonight.

Not sure what D4rk was on about. Grigo's no warrior, but I thought his battle was pretty good tonight.

EDIT: I see the response now. Fair comment.

Pysyk should be here right now.

Murray rightfully doesn't want to overload this team with too many kids, but I think he's being stubborn.

Pysyk is clearly better than Weber/Strachan and so much better than Mess and Beano it's ridiculous.

Surprised there's not more trade talk regarding Pysyk being a right handed shot with some potential.

Pysyk has not been playing this well in Rochester. I'd like to see a little more before I'm convinced.

I think Pysyk is a player that plays up to the competition, and conversely down to the competition in the AHL.

That game was a taste of of next year's team.

Larsson Grigo and Pysyk lose their waiver exemption and will have jobs.

Stafford, Stewart, Mitchell, Kaleta, Benoit, Mess and Strachan are likely gone.

It will be interesting to see who will be the four other new faces.

During today's game I realized it was almost 2015 and we were still stuck with Drew Stafford. It was unpleasant.

Really?? This cannot be true.

Seems likely there will be no supplemental discipline for Bartkowski, though nothing official yet. Shoulder hit. Incidental head contact.

Why am I in no way surprised by that.....

Can someone tell me the last time a Bruin was actually suspended for a dirty hit?

Typical Buffalo outcome. The Bills lose to a two win team with a rookie QB who wears eyeliner and a defensive coordinator who wears eyeblack on the sidelines. Then the Sabres are 90 seconds from a win and let some dude with the first name of Dougie tie the game up. Can't get much worse than that for a Sunday evening. And I'm sure I'm in the minority, but Grigorenko is not what he was labeled to be. Maybe a little offense would be nice. It's early, but I'm not impressed with him compared to how the other kids have played.

It won't happen overnight. Probably half of the players that are "likely gone" will still be with the team next year, and that won't necessarily be bad. Some of them will be mere placeholders until the youth movement edges them out.

Tonight is what I thought this year's tank would look like. A decent effort, standing toe-to-toe against good teams through hard work, and ultimately losing at the end more often than not. There were flashes of brilliance (the Mess goal, Schaller's goal) and a lot of tenacity trying to hold the Bruins off the board. You could almost see the younger players learning.

Right or wrong, he was touted as the future no.1 center and our main building block - so much so that they rushed him to the NHL and kept him there even after it was clear he wasn't ready.

Not sure what he's supposed to be now.

I only remember fans clamoring to anoint him to greatness, everyone else said he had huge ???. When the heck have fans ever been right about anything?

Most of the other kids have been with the big club much longer. It took a month and a half for the rest of the team to come together and you're writing off Grigo after three games? You could argue Larsson is doing better, but he's also looked lost at times. I think those two are spinning up to NHL speed. I hope they stay up for a while and get up to full speed so we can really see what they can do.

When I say "likely gone" I mean each is a UFA at season's end.

Anyone of trade value will be traded. The others will likely get bumped by kids or better veteran free agents.

I would be surprised if any of them are back. They just aren't in the team's long-term plans.
