  1. Ha, no it's not Craig.
  2. Haha, I do like him tho. I skated with him (and his Dad) a bit over the summer last year. That said I think he's a guy that will need a couple seasons in Rochester. He has a very slight build (he's actually closer to 5'11 than 6'1) and it will take him some time to figure out how to win pucks at the pro level since he won't be able to out leverage guys.
  3. hence... walmart
  4. walmart brian campbell
  5. He needs to make better decisions with the puck, particularly at the blue lines, but I really enjoy how he plays the game. That said, keep him in Roch the rest of the season. Buffalo has become a dumpster fire with their goaltending situation, let him slow roast in a winning environment. He'll kick the door down in camp next season.
  6. Quinn looks annoyed... a little sour about being sent back down maybe?
  7. On the flip side, they pull him out of college and he gets lit up on Roch... then what? I hope he stays in school, for another year even... more so for Portillo.
  8. Subban has a history of being injury prone. Anderson is 40. UPL has had a history of injuries of as well. What did they expect?
  9. Soon we'll need a list of guys who have not had COVID yet.
  10. hmmmm.... wasn't aware giraffes could catch COVID 🤷‍♂️
  11. I have low expectations for Quinn this season in Buffalo. He's lighting up the AHL, but I'm not convinced his game is rounded out enough to stick at the National league level where it's much more difficult to convert.
  12. Will Levi join Roch for a playoff run with the other young guns when his college season expires?
  13. ...light the entire thing on fire and throw a puck on the flames each time he scores for Vegas
  14. Nah... Jack believed in the team too... he believed in the guys around him, he talked about Sam and Risto and Evander and the young guys in the pipeline (Asplund, MIttlestadt, etc..) taking this team to the playoffs down the road and he legitimately believed. All young players coming in to a rebuild say this... across all sports. It's boilerplate.
  15. Jonathan Quick played 2 seasons at UMass.... .920 / .929 His best NHL seasons he posted... .921 / .928 I've used Quick as a comparable for Levi since the trade. Both ultracompetitive individuals with freakish athletic ability and similar stature playing their college years for Hockey East schools.
  16. This is supposedly updated daily... https://www.sportsnet.ca/nhl/article/nhl-covid-19-tracker-monitoring-outbreaks-across-league/
  17. I, for one, don't believe they're playing that bad. UPL needs to make a couple saves, should be at worst a one goal game, or tied 1-1.
  18. Murray doesn't skate particularly well, he doesn't shoot the puck very well, he's not a setup guy, doesn't make his teammates better. Hands are average at best, doesn't contribute defensively. He fills a role at this time (net front/size), but if the braintrust have identified him as part of the "solution" moving forward, we're in trouble. My forecast: career AHL'er with short stint call-ups when Buffalo is contending for a playoff spot. Do better.
  19. He leads the team in TRpm. He's not flashy, just does his job very well. ============================================================== Team Player TRpm GP +/- exp+/- %min BUF Mark Pysyk 10.32 33 2 -8.32 32.0 BUF Colin Miller 7.11 28 0 -7.11 27.4 BUF Mark Jankowski 3.65 4 3 -0.65 2.5 BUF Vinnie Hinostroza 3.29 31 -3 -6.29 24.2 BUF Brett Murray 1.93 15 -1 -2.93 11.3 That said, if they can replace him with a better veteran to mentor Power, then by all means upgrade. If you can do better... do better.
  20. Jerry D'Amigo
  21. Ha no... because COVID
  22. Will likely be more.
